Reading
  • Access your Benchmark Unit 6 packet:
    • McDonald/LeClair/Brigulio: Go into Shared with Me in Google Drive
    • McKay/Tuatagaloa/Bradshaw: Find it in Google Classroom, code: 447rxoi
    • Sanchez/Forestier: Find it in your folder
  • Re-read “Androcles and the Lion” and complete Lesson 2 page that asks you to List 10 Key Details from the text, then write a Summary. Make sure the first sentence of your summary includes the title of the passage . 
  • SSR 30 minutes 
  • Complete one of the following reading response questions on lined paper located HERE. 
  • Take an A.R. quiz when you need to take one using this LINK
Please save your reading response in the READING section of your binder/folder and turn it in upon your return to school.

  • Continue writing your short stories on your GoogleDocs for 50 minutes.
  1. Remember, that each narrative has a strong lead (hook), beginning, middle, BTH, ending, and the 3 D’s (dialogue, description, and sensory detail).
  2. If you need help logging into GoogleDrive from your device click HERE.
Please save your narrative in the WRITING section of your binder and/or GoogleDoc and turn it in upon your return to school.

For students who are in Ms. Sanchez’s/Ms. Forestier’s class
  • Continue working on your novel in GoogleDocs for 50 minutes. Today is the last day for writing. Tomorrow you will start editing and revising your novel.
  1. Remember to refer to your Plot Roller Coaster and planning notes when writing.
